The Vacancy
What we are looking for -
We are looking for a permanent, full time Procurement & Contracts Partner to support the National Library of Scotland on procurement matters, and work closely with managers across the Library to support them buying goods and services.
Working in a small team and supporting the whole organisation, the procurement activity is diverse and includes the purchase of routine goods and services, exhibition design plus creative services, specialised equipment for digitisation, preservation and conservation requirements as well as replacement and upgrade of IT systems and services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in public sector procurement including the SPD (S) for Regulated or WTO/GPA procurements, UK Crown Commercial G Cloud frameworks as well as issuing contract notices for Quick Quotes and Regulated public contracts through the Public Contracts Scotland advertising portal.
